Learn how to operate and maintain the MSActivator in a production environment.

This instructor-led course is designed for the MSActivator professional who works in an IT Department or Security/Network Operation Center (S/NOC) and needs to be able to operate and maintain the MSActivator in a production environment.

You will learn about managing and orchestrating network, security or cloud entities, monitoring, event collecting, alerting and reporting.

You will also learn about user and tenant, role-based access control and self-care portal. You will also dig into the MSActivator architecture to understand how to troubleshoot and maintain a production system.

Automation Track

Get started with the MSActivator integrated automation, understand how to use Microservices to manage multi- vendor entities and reduce the complexity of your managed system.

This instructor-led course provides a substantial foundation for getting started with the MSActivator integrated automation.

It covers how to use Microservices to manage multi-vendor entities and will help you reduce the complexity of your managed system. 

You will also learn how to use Workflows and benefit from the MSActivator integrated management and automation platform.

In addition, you will discover how to install, configure, deploy and use Microservices and Workflows, and also how to troubleshoot issues you may encounter along the way. You will start exploring the inner workings of the MSActivator and see how it uses the Adapters to interact with the Managed Entities.

This course leads to certification as “Automation Engineer I” and is a prerequisite for “Automation Engineer II”.

Integration Track

The introduction to service design with the MSActivator will cover how to manage entities and implement Microservices to create a consistent service-offer. Additionally, with the introduction to the Adapter, you will be provided with a complete rundown of the MSActivator automation stack.

Configuration Designer

Understand how to design, implement, package and use Microservices in the MSActivator.

Do you need to design and provide a comprehensive, controlled and packaged Element Management System (EMS)? Do you want to ease the onboarding of new vendors and stay away from mono-vendor locking? This course provides a strong foundation for understanding the Microservices in the MSActivator and how to design, package and use them to implement your commercial offering.

You will learn the best practices for supporting, testing and developing Microservices for REST or CLI-based Managed Entities.  

You will also discover how the Microservice layer interacts with the Adapter layer to provide an abstraction layer between the specifics of the Managed Entities vendor and the end user.

This course will give you a deep understanding of the architecture of the D-MSA. You will explore scaling, load balancing and high availability, and learn how to install, update, maintain and troubleshoot a D-MSA in production.

This instructor-led course provides a solid understanding of the MSActivator Adapter layer. This is used to provide the southbound, multi-vendor, low-level abstraction interface.

You will learn the best practices for designing, developing and testing your own Adapters.

You will also explore the Adapter configuration, monitoring and event management API, and learn how to implement them. You will also determine the best design choices during the implementation phase. 

Lastly, you will discover how to install and configure your Adapter in the MSActivator.
